ProVoice is easy to use and you can have access to the recordings across the network, including the internet, from your desktop.
You know that feeling when you hang up and then can't remember if you said what time the meeting would be? Well, that's one good reason for voice recording—you can check the directions they gave you, as well.
Of course, the main reason for installing voice recording equipment is being able to listen again to those complex calls where you get so into it you forget to make notes, or to confirm a verbal order.
Then there is the other side of supporting you staff in the case of abusive callers. You know the kind of thing: "Calls may be recorded for training purposes..." It has become so much the norm now that, not having it can get you into a fix. Think of it as audible Email and let your eyes take a break from the screen.
The ProVoice units comes in several sizes from 4 and 8 ports, just add the computer, through to 16 and 30 ports for larger operations, which come with rack mountable PCs. The box is connected to the trunk lines or, with a bit more hardware, individual extensions can be connected directly.
The software shows a list of calls in time order, just click to listen. The list is searchable by date, time, duration, call direction and, depending on the set-up, by line ID, extension, CLI, and dialled number. This facility helps you find a specific call amidst many.
In these days of security and legal action, it is far safer to be able to quote yourself accurately - rather than let someone else tell you what you said.

Designed for the SME, or for a small department within a larger organisation. These systems record 4 or 8 extensions, or 4 analogue trunks, or 2/4 ISDN2 (BRI) circuits.
Pro Voice DX30
For logging the ISDN 30 (PRI) circuits. This comes in 8, 16 or 30 port.
Pro Voice CX Series
Larger sites would use the ProVoice CX series. Minimum size 8 lines with no upper limit.
These come with rack mounted PCs. Each PC will log up to 120 lines with bolt on facility. No upper limit to the number of lines recorded. |
