Do you need to run a report on an adhoc group of extensions? Perhaps you have a project and these extensions already belong in specific cost centers but for the purposes of this report, they need to be selected as well. LUMBERJACK allows multiple organisational structures and adhoc extension groups. Learn from the ‘How To…’ for the Client User and the Web User.
Are you aware that when updating extensions within LUMBERJACK, it is possible to ‘update’ or ‘reassign’? What is the difference I hear you ask? Basically, updating an extension will overwrite the existing entry whereas a reassign, would retain the historical information about that extension to the date the reassign took place, so for example, if Blah Gangles on extension 1234 left the company and Gillian Blah took over the extension on the 12th October, all reports prior to the 12th October would show Blah Gangles, but thereafter, Gillian would have ownership with all the relevant time and cost associated to it. Take a look at the information for the Client user or the Web User.

If you would like to use LUMBERJACK via the web interface, here is the How To… We would recommend upgrading LUMBERJACK to the latest version as there have been some major additions to the functionality. However, if you haven’t received your upgrade disk yet and can’t wait. You can still use a web browser it just won’t look as nice.
