Artel Communications Ltd

Our remit: "A clean looking site that clearly shows what our business is: selling machines for document handling."

Solution: Artel were not looking to rebrand so the logo was to remain the same. Using a white background the complimentary blue was introduced to enhance the machine images. The site also needed to access the Ricoh site which provides their showroom. This was incorporated into the Showroom.

Our remit: "I need a website that clearly expresses who I am and what I do."

Solution: Simon conducts non-religious ceremonies. His trademark is a navy suit so we took this image of him against the spring greens of the willow trees which were used as the site colour scheme.

SPJ Photography

Our remit: "I take photographs for events and commissioned work. I also do a lot of travel and nature photography. I want to bring all these into an e-commerce website."

Solution: Sandy Pond-Jones is a stylish lady and her site needed a touch of class. We kept the site minimalist to give the photographs centre stage and incorporated a gallery for her images.

Our remit: "I want to sell myself and what I do. I need to expand my business and advertise all the services I can offer "

Solution: We took some photographs of Sally in her studio and picked out the colours for the site. We needed to make it clear and businesslike without being overly formal and clinical. In particular, it had to appeal to both sexes.

Gaea Crystals

Our remit: "At Gaea we have a crystal shop and run many courses and workshops for healing and self awareness. We need a site that promotes this side of our business."

Solution: Gaea wanted to use the healing shades of lavendar and they already had a logo. There were distinct categories implied in the courses they ran so we made icons for each of these and this led to the overlapping design indicating the possibility of greater depth.

Our remit: "We've got a design and an idea. We'd like you to turn it into a website."

Solution: And so we did... They provided a design from a graphic design company and we then created a website which was to advertise the launch of their up-and coming book (publish date Jan 2009).  The site needed to portray the writers, what they were trying to achieve and to dispel myths surrounding Omega 3.

Plastic Bag Free Chesham

Our remit: "A clear, newsy site which keeps the people of Chesham informed about what is going on in the plastic bag free campaign. The site is to be used to monitor activity and give people a chance to vote."

Solution: The colours we chose complimented the 'green'ness of the campaign ideal whilst keeping a clean and cheerful feel. We also introduced a Blog for a more chatty news section which meant people could register and make comments.

Our remit: "We need a showcase website to display our furniture and works of art from the 17th to 20th centuries."

Solution: We felt these unique pieces needed a gallery display. This was used to display the items in stock. We set this against a black background which off set the company's stylish logo.
