Directory and Catalogue |
CATALOG, as it's name suggests, allows you to catalogue anything. Since you are able to specify your own fields and category type the implications are endless.
Design your directory to suit your company needs. Name and format of the fields, company colour scheme, font, size, and so on. With 'drag and drop' these files can be positioned to create the look-up screens of your choice.
Screens can be customised, creating different formats for different users. For example:
- Operators may be able to see Name, Department, Extension numbers and any other relevant information such as Car Registration or Pager.
- Staff may be able to see Name, Extension and holiday dates.
- Human Resources would be able to see Staff Numbers, Next of Kin, etc.

You need not limit the system to storing staff details. Use it to track equipment: date ordered; cost centre; responsibility; etc. |

Each screen design is allocated a level of access to the database information. Password control keeps information secure and discrete. |
| Fast Response |
Sub-second response time gives the operators the advantage of fast look-up to all callers. Updates can be carried out in Real Time keeping the screens constantly up to date. All information stored locally on the client PC so any network issues can be fixed in the background. |
| Company Structure |
Relational Database: Every directory will have items that are associated with several records. CATALOG will update all associated records at once. For example, if the name of a Department is being changed, all staff, extensions, etc., stored against that Department name will be updated.
Integration: The CATALOG directory can be integrated with our call logging system, LUMBERJACK. One update point for the whole company directory and call logger. CATALOG can also be integrated with other in-house systems. |

CATALOG will print out the entire company directory with full structure or can be used selectively, or for listings by Extension or by Name for easy look-up. |

Client/Server: Full system access is available from desktop PCs where the client software is installed.
Web Browser: Various levels of access dependent upon password. |

Every user has login and password access personalised to their responsibilities. |
| After Sales Support |
System maintenance covers you for all upgrades to CATALOG. Once you have the product, you will not need to buy any additional modules. System upgrades will include any innovations developed by Focom. These may have been suggested in house or from our users. They may include anything from a shortcut to a new report type.
Help desk support is carried out using remote diagnostics. We are able to use many forms of remote access and we are happy to comply with any company firewall and security issues. |
